Half Marathon Run/Walk - 13.1 miles, cut off time 3½ hours, start time 8:00am. Anyone remaining on the course after 3½ hrs must move to the sidewalk. The finish line will remain open for 3½ hours. No running in the walking division.
5k Run/Walk - 3.1 miles, no running in the walking division, start time 8:05am.
Children's ½ Mile - fee is $10 and registration will be held on Friday at packet pick up as well as race day. Every finisher will receive a surprise after crossing the finish line. Parents are welcome and encouraged to run with their children though the roughly ½ mile course through East Beach.
Race Day Packet Pick up/Registration & Chip Disbursement - Saturday February 2, 2008, 6:30am-7:30am located at the East Beach Bay Front Club.
Parking - Parking is available in an East Beach designated area. Please do not block drive ways or park in "no parking" areas. You will be towed.
Half Marathon Awards:
Cash prizes to the top three Overall Male & Female and top three Masters Male and Female in the Half Marathon Run.
Awards for top three Overall Male and Female in the Half Marathon Walk.
Top three Male & Female in each age group 19 and Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and Over for the Half Marathon Run.
5K Awards:
Top three Overall Male and Female 5K Runners and Walkers.
Top three Male & Female in each age group 19 and Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and Over for the 5K Run.
Other Awards: Special Middle and Back of the pack Male & Female awards given in both races.
